The Pennsylvania Furniture Mission was established in 2022 to serve Pennsylvania residents seeking a hand-up to reach their personal goals. Co-founders, Pashk Sokoli and Amanda Reilly-Sokoli, sought to offer assistance by providing free gently-used furniture to families and individuals in need in Pennsylvania after experiencing their own personal challenges and seeing the hardships of others.
Pennsylvania Furniture Mission recognizes the large and overwhelming cost of purchasing furniture for a new home or apartment. Our services provide families and individuals experiencing financial barriers, the opportunity to receive free gently-used furniture, and avoid purchasing brand-new furniture at a high price tag. Time, money, and other resources can be utilized elsewhere in the household for basic needs if it is not spent on household furnishings.
